Puskás Arena
Puskás Arena is Hungary’s largest stadium, located in Budapest’s 14th district on the site of the former Népstadion. The modern venue opened in 2019 and is named after the legendary Hungarian footballer Ferenc Puskás.
With a capacity of 67,000, the arena was designed to preserve the character of the former stadium: the exterior echoes the distinctive rhythm of the original Népstadion’s pylons.
The stadium primarily hosts matches of the Hungarian national football team, but it is also a venue for major international sporting events and large-scale concerts. In 2023, it hosted the UEFA Europa League Final.
