Tóth Árpád Promenade
Tóth Árpád Promenade is one of the most beautiful and atmospheric walking paths of Buda Castle, running along the western side of the castle walls. It is named after Árpád Tóth, the poet who lived nearby and often drew inspiration from the mood of the Castle District. The promenade offers beautiful views over the Buda Hills and the rooftops of Krisztinaváros.
This broad, tree-lined walkway is especially spectacular in spring, during sakura season, when the cherry trees burst into bloom. At this time both locals and visitors come here to admire the pink blossoms lining the castle walls.
